The landscape design for Draycott 8 is based on 3-dimensional composition of landscape elements based on the principles of a 2-dimensional painting by modern artist Piet Mondrian. Overlapping planes of water, hardscape, and softscape create a colorful and dynamic composition that defines and reveals the landscape.
The focal point of the landscape is a conserved colonial era house which was preserved and converted into a clubhouse. The landscape spaces surrounding the clubhouse have been sensitively integrated as an extension of the clubhouse.
A 50m lap pool, a children’s pool, a Jacuzzi pool garden, a multi-purpose lawn/ timber deck, and barbeque garden are some of the facilities that revolve around the centrally located clubhouse.
