Botanic on Lloyd« Back to Projects Listing | Print
The overall landscape for the Botanics at Lloyd was designed with two intersecting “Ovals” as the main Focal point. The juxtaposition of the Ovals represents a designed “formal” intervention within a designed “naturalistic” setting.

Within the formal composition, one Oval is the Clubhouse which is a positive form hovering over the other Oval which is the mirror pool as a negative form which when combined together represents the duality which exists in all natural forces.

The landscape is a seamless fusion of nature and managed water. The design purposefully seeks to merge “Green into Blue” and “Blue into Green” and seeks to blur the edge between to create a magical illusion of being able to transcend both environments.

The landscape at The Lloyd takes the “Botanic Garden” theme concept to new heights as a private park where the residents “Live in a Botanic Garden” amidst a collection of cultivated trees in the manner of an arboretum with a wide range of species in a parkland setting.
