The design for Choa Chu Kang Park is contemporary modern in style and expression, and rational in function. The juxtaposition of lines and arcs on both the horizontal and vertical planes results in a series of pluralistic spaces that cater to all age groups. A key feature of the park is the variety of vegetation that was used to increase bio-diversity. The flexible park design, which unites the urban edge of the site with its naturalistic forest fringe on the other side allows for future expansion and growth depending on user needs.
