Science Park 1 and 2 are strategically located in-between a ridge of secondary forest, Kent Ridge Park. Sitetectonix took advantage of this unique condition by developing a landscape masterplan based on the concept of "green finger" connections. The green fingers seamlessly integrate the Science Parks with Kent Ridge Park to create a holistic environment and landscape without boundaries. Sitetectonix also developed a pedestrian promenade that provides a continuous link from Science Park 1 to Science Park 2.
- Landscape design based on the concept of an “office campus in the forest”
- Streetscape design seamlessly integrates existing forest character of adjacent Kent Ridge Park into the landscape
- Plant palette based on forest species typically found in Kent Ridge Park
- Layered planting to provide filtered views form streetscape into office blocks
- Imprints of leafs form forest species plants in concrete sidewalk, reinforces character and nature of site
